The great Valley communities of Ansonia, Derby and Seymour are teaming this Saturday (Nov. 2) for “Hazardous Waste Collection Day.”
It’s the annual event where you can safely get rid of items such as antifreeze, mercury thermostats, ammonia, pool chemicals and all sorts of stuff you don’t want lying around your home forever.
See the PDFs below for more info. The documents were distributed by local governments in Ansonia and Derby.
The collection will take place at the Ansonia Public Works Complex on North Division Street from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., according to the City of Ansonia website.
“Residents of the three towns may take all their hazardous waste to the Ansonia Public Works Complex during that period of time,” said Ron Culmo, Derby’s Director of Public Works.
