Highway tolls, bridge tolls, whatever, tolls were a hot topic in Connecticut this year. I live-streamed a forum on the subject at Derby City Hall back in March. About 3,100 people checked it out.

4. Kurt Miller Takes Questions On Seymour Ballot Questions

There were three borrowing questions on the Seymour ballot in November. A few weeks before Election Day residents had the chance to ask questions about the questions during a live broadcast with Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller at The Valley Indy office on Main Street in Ansonia.

About 3,600 people watched.

Mayor Cassetti was re-elected to a fourth two-year term Nov. 5. His acceptance speech in a crowded office at 158 Main St. was the second most-watched video of the year. Cassetti’s speech was live-streamed on Valley Indy Facebook.

Derby Building Demo

Back in March a contractor hired by the state demolished a few buildings on Derby’s Main Street in preperation for the (“OH MY GOD WHEN WILL IT FINALLY START, THE SIGNS HAVE BEEN UP FOR YEARS”) Route 34 widening project.

More than 7,000 people watched as my iPhone died from the extreme temperature.
