How To Help Griffin Hospital Further Prepare For COVID-10

DERBY — The following message was posted March 23 on Griffin Hospital’s Facebook page:

Griffin’s dedicated Caregivers are working tirelessly to prepare for and respond to the needs of what we expect to be a growing number of community residents that will be infected by the COVID-19 virus.

To ensure that we have the capability and capacity to respond, it is essential that we protect the health and well-being of Griffin’s Caregivers. To do that we need to maintain an adequate supply of caregiver personal protection equipment.

To support Griffin Health and our Caregivers by adding to our supply of essential personal protective equipment, there are two ways you can help:

1. We are accepting donations to the Griffin Health COVID-19 Fund here:

2. We are accepting donations of these personal protective equipment (PPE) items: – N95 Respiratory Facemasks – Medical Grade Isolation Masks and Gowns – Face Shields – Medical-Grade Gloves (non-latex)

These items should be in their original, unopened packaging.

Small quantity donations may be brought to the hospital’s main lobby between 8am and 5pm. For large quantity donations or for more information, contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or 203 – 732-7539
