ANSONIA — My Sister’s Place is a thrift store and donation store on Main Street. Its sales benefit The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of BHcare.
Because of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the nonprofit shop is closed. Its management requests that NO donation items be left outside the shop. Doing so can overwhelm the shop and create a major clutter problem.
From the My Sister’s Place Facebook page:
“Hey folks! #BeANiceHuman and please refrain from leaving ANY donations at our back door. We are closed until further notice. We are not a dump and we cannot process these items at all.
Use this time to sort through and organize your items. Then, when we reopen, we will happily take your donations.
So, please remember, be nice and do not DUMP any items outside MSP. We are closed.”
