Voters In State House 104: What Matters The Most?

Hey readers living within the borders of the Connecticut House of Representatives District 104: with an election scheduled for Nov. 5 between incumbent Democrat Kara Rochelle and her Republican opponent Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti, we want to know what’s on voters’ minds.

We created a Google Form that asks two simple questions: do you live in Ansonia or Derby and what’s the top issue in your district? The issue question is multiple choice, with an option to include other.”

Let your voice be heard!

But, you have to be signed into a Google account to take the poll. Don’t worry, we don’t see your email. We don’t collect your email. Frankly, we don’t care who you are, but requiring you to sign in prevents one person from voting a billion times.

By the way, state House 104 includes all of Ansonia and most of Derby’s west side, including downtown and the Hawthorne Avenue area (but not Silver Hill Road and Derby Neck closer to the Seymour border).

The choices you see as issues were taken from other polls, including one from CT News Junkie and another from Wesleyan as reported by The CT Mirror. Some of the choices are also from our own reporting on local issues in Ansonia and Derby.

Finally, this poll is unscientific.
