WTNH-TV News 8, the Nexstar Media Group, Inc. television station serving Hartford/New Haven and the surrounding area, announced today that it will air an exclusive live telecast of a debate between the candidates for United States Senator from Connecticut, incumbent U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D) and challenger Matthew Corey (R).
The 2024 Connecticut U.S. Senate Debate will air live on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. ET from the WTNH News 8 studios in New Haven.
The debate will be televised live on WTNH News 8 and streamed live on www.wtnh.com.
News 8 Anchors Dennis House & Kathryn Hauser will serve as moderators for the debate. The candidates will be asked for their views on several topics including the economy, abortion, immigration, and other key issues facing residents in Connecticut.
